With our smaller 10 meter telescope we are able to conduct Earth-Moon-Earth transmissions (EME) as well. It should also be possible to conduct more even encompassing measurements. After all, due to constructions of the transmission and receipt sensor the 10-Ghz-EME-Installation does not exhaust the full responsivity of the telescope.

“Jugend forscht” 2012: Students from Bad Münstereifel succeed!

Der Stockert als Lernort Schule

The “Jugend forscht” measurement project runs since November of 2011 at our 10 meter telescope at Stockert. By now, two students by the names of “Florian Büttner” and “Daniel Reschetow” have won first place at the NRW-Landeswettbewerb, held in Leverkusen, with their works on the subject “radio-moon” in the course geoscience and astronomy.
